Volunteers are the foundation of everything BBRR does for raptors, from education to research. There are many ways to get involved and contribute to the mission of BBRR. Opportunities are available for all levels of experience. A training course is offered each winter, which is recommended but not required to become a volunteer. Below is just a sample of activities that volunteers can get involved with:

  • Education & Interpretation
  • Hawkwatch
  • Raptor Banding
  • Owl Surveys
  • Special Events like Bird of Prey Days
  • Fundraising
  • Habitat Management & Trail Work
