Braddock Bay Raptor Research is grateful to receive a grant from the Rochester Birding Association (RBA) in support of the spring hawkwatch. The grant is part of the RBA’s recently established Conservation, Accessibility and Engagement Fund. BBRR will use this grant to cover the expense of a portable restroom at the site of the hawkwatch in Braddock Bay Park. This is a neccesary accomodation that needs to be in place for our raptor counter, as well as the hundreds of visitors that visit the hawkwatch and use the park in the spring months.
The RBA is a wonderful resource in the Rochester and Finger Lakes area, not only for birding information but also as an organization that supports bird conservation in the area. Check out the RBA website for more information on their programs and offerings.
