Braddock Bay Park

Welcome to  Braddock Bay Park!

199 East Manitou Road - Greece, NY

Braddock Bay Park is home to BBRR's hawkwatch, which operates in the spring and late summer

Of course, the view is different if you are a migrating hawk.

It's an easy walk to the hawkwatch platform, with plentiful parking nearby.

The view from the platform shows Braddock Bay and other parts of the wildlife management area.  The entire management area encompasses over 2,100 acres of habitat along  the Lake Ontario shore.

This platform is the main spot where migration counts of raptors take place.  Signage and a tally board inform visitors.

Braddock Bay has other enjoyable views within a short walking distance.

Thousands of birds use this wetland at various times of the year.  It can be teaming with migratory waterfowl in the fall and spring.

Recent habitat restoration has already brought an increase in various bird and other wildlife sightings.

Walk from boardwalk, then along the trail to the Great Lakes Seaway Trail raptor migration sign.  Interpretive signage describes the timing of the raptor migration and the species seen here.

Lodges and Pavilions can be rented through the town of Greece.

Lots of space and trail to explore.  The Cranberry Pond Nature Trail begins at Braddock Bay Park and continues across East Manitou Road along Cranberry Pond.

Braddock Bay Park can be enjoyed year round.  Come out and enjoy the park!
