Owl Prowl

Mar 31 2012 – 7:30 AM

The Owl Woods at Braddock Bay is the best place in the area to find migrating Northern Saw-whet Owls and Long-eared Owls in the spring.  Join an experienced BBRR guide who will lead you through the woods in the early morning hours to look for roosting owls.  Your guide will teach you the proper etiquette for viewing and photographing these owls without disturbing them.  Owl prowls are suitable for all ages and families are welcome.  The trail is flat, though can be muddy or icy in spots depending on the weather, so proper footwear is a must.  Prowls last at least one hour.

Registration is required and space is limited.  A $2 donation/person is suggested.  Please call or e-mail BBRR to reserve your spot.  information@bbrr.org/585-267-5483
