Owl Observations

Ever wonder how owls live their lives?  They certainly are mysterious because of their nocturnal habits.  This program will help kids discover some amazing facts about local owl species through a pellet dissection and a special presentation about a local screech owl family.  Come for a chance to win  a screech owl nest box, and take home plans to make your own.  A visit from the Incredible Hawk is on the agenda, too!   Appropriate for ages 5 and up. Hot cocoa and snacks will be available for purchase.  Registration is requested. There will be a suggested donation fee of $2 per participant.  Parents must accompany children for the entire program.
